Post Malone - New York
Swae Lee - New York
It’s great! Now I don’t have to be at my computer constantly without worrying about seeming as if I’m not working.
Great for working on computer situations where there is a mandatory timeout/lock that is too short. Especially for work at home folks. Well worth it and works with usb C connection or usb A adapter(if you have one).
Great product. Highly recommended if your boss is on your case about not being online because you went to the bathroom or grabbing a cup of coffee.
Keeps Microsoft Teams from turning yellow when you run out of office work to do and step away from the computer. So thankful I bought it.
I’ve been a good virtual worker, but the anxiety of my status changing from available to away (like when I’m on the phone, reading a paper-copy manual, going to the bathroom) had me stressed to the max. To any prying eyes, this hardware doesn’t show up on your computer any different than a Bluetooth mouse or keyboard would. It keeps your status as available when turned on, and with the quick push of a button you can turn it off easily. It drifts back and forth across the screen and appears to even “click” every now and then too. This works with Microsoft Teams and Skype Messanger. Great product, life-saver!!
For the past two years since working from home I taped a second mouse to a desk fan. When the desk fan died I got this and I dont know why I waited so long. A week after I got it my boss called me up while I was at target and promoted me for all my hard work. I mean I do work hard dont get me wrong its well deserved, but I also can do 8 hours of work in 4 so I really needed this.
The only mode worth anything is the micro-movement mode. The other modes are just dumb and obvious if anyone walks by your machine and sees the cursor doing laps around the screen.
It remembers which mode you used. Long presses turn it on or off. Short presses while on cycles through the modes including off. Use the led as a guide for on and off.
When I turn it on the it moves the mouse just enough to keep the computer from falling asleep. I don't even have to turn it off until I need to. Like else working from home, regardless of the actual work you get done its taboo to let your slack, teams, etc icon go off or inactive. So this has really helped, not to mention I don't have to keep logging back in when my computer does go to sleep.
This keypad is very easy to customize and program. I was able to program to open a certain folder in one touch, program a certain actions, easily sleep the computer, etc… I only had it for few days, but it makes life so much easier. I don’t have to click around to find folders anymore, press one key and done!
- Mechanical Keypad
- Customizable Keys for shortcuts
- Very easy installation
- Drag and Drop to customize keys
Love the fact that you can plug this in and it does not require any software. Does the job.
This product works. Moves the mouse naturally. Keeps your computer awake while away from the desk.
This is a life saver! I can run to Starbucks now without my screen timing out. I can switch the laundry without asking my son to jiggle the mouse. I've told so many about this, and they love it too! Works great!
Let’s be real, you know why you’re here. The whole work from home workforce knows why you’re here. Let me just say: do it, it’s absolutely worth it.
It’s a simple plug and play that requires no special drivers or anything. Just pop it in a USB port and press the button to start working. It’ll just move the mouse left to right until you press the button again to turn it off.
When it’s on, there’s a little blue light that indicates it’s running. It’s a very lightweight accessory that doesn’t use much battery power or make your computer run hot or anything.
Just do yourself a favor and buy it already!
Consider this the key to taking remote work to new levels. All you have to do is plug in the device to you USB port and push the button on the top. It keeps my MS Teams status active as long as I have it activated. I’ve never had an issue with it. The cursor on the screen moves left to right and does not interact with any other programs. You can nap all day and this thing will keep you active - haha! It’s truly a game changer. I haven’t had any issues with my corporate security either.
I love the fact that the VAYDEER Mouse jiggler is so simple and effective. You plug it in, the computer recognizes it as a mouse, press the button and your mouse starts to move, keeping your computer from going to sleep and Microsoft Teams from keeping you from changing to away status.
The version I'm reviewing is the USB version. It is plug and play and the computer recognizes it as a mouse. There is a single button that activates the movement and your mouse moves in a straight line from left to right, back and forth until you press the button again.
It works great on Mac and PC and if you are a Microsoft Teams user, it will keep your status from switching to 'away' as long as some part of the mouse movement touches your Teams window.
A convenient device that does what it needs to.
If you're going to prompt me to write a review while I'm still waiting, it's not going to be a good one.
At my desk, I listen to music most of the day and I find myself adjusting the volume and tracks a lot. I have a multimedia keyboard, but having a dedicated knob for volume is so much quicker and more reliable than the keyboard keys. Once you try it, it’s hard to go back. The fact that this has Back, Play/Pause, Forward, and Mute is just a bonus.
The craftsmanship of this device is very good. Better than expected, actually. The metal casing and beveled edges look and feel premium. The only place I think there’s room for improvement is the potentiometer (the turning mechanism under the volume knob). Don’t get me wrong, it’s nice, but there is this ever so slight wobble to it that makes me feel like it’s 3.5/5 or 4/5 stars. If you’ve ever turned knobs on high-end audio equipment, you’ll know what I’m talking about. Which brings me to the cost. I feel like this is priced slightly higher than it deserves. If the knob was better, I would say totally worth the price. As is, it’s only worth it because there is nothing better that I can find.
A couple other notes worth mentioning: I used this on Windows 10 and macOS 10.15 with no issues. The non-skid rubber bottom is a fantastic idea. And finally, the knob softly clicks as you rotate it. Which makes perfect sense to me now, but for whatever reason I had expected it to be smooth. All in all, this is a great device and I think you’ll be happy with it if this is the kind of thing you are looking for.
This is exactly what I was looking for! Well built and controls the media player on my PC. Plug-and-play!
I am retired, living in my RV full time (in the Redwoods, CA) and for several years have been spending the majority of my time gaming. Some of my games, though, don't provide much for musical entertainment. So sometimes I fire up the game on my main PC, and launch iTunes on my second PC. For years I have been using a second keyboard to control iTunes (pause, volume change, etc). Since I moved into my RV last year, this has proved to make things a bit cluttered in my gaming area.
So, I went looking for a smaller solution, and found this! It's a perfect fit! And, it does exactly what I need it to do. The analog style volume knob is a particularly nice feature that makes it easy to adjust the volume on-the-fly. I highly recommend this for a simple, small, yet effective solution for any similar situation. Kudos to the designer!
This volume control is awesome. I have been using it for several months now. It is made of solid metal and the dial turns very smoothly. There are buttons for pause/play, skip forward, skip back, and a button to change the amount of volume change when you turn the dial. Again, it is made of solid metal and has a rubber padded bottom. It stays put where ever the place it and I expect this will last longer than the computers I plugged it into.
I use it to change the volume on streaming music on a secondary PC when I am working on my primary PC. Both computers are hooked up to the same large monitor via a KVM and most of the time the secondary PC is running in headless mode. Plugging this into a USB port on that PC makes it a snap to change the volume, pause the music, skip the the next track, etc... All while working on the primary PC. Again, this thing is solid construction.
I have used this on both Windows 10 and Ubuntu Linux. On Windows 10, it works flawlessly. On Ubuntu (Mate 20.04, 20.10, 21.04) It works perfectly when logged in, but as soon as it goes into screensaver mode, the OS no longer recognizes the device input until I logged back in again. This is an Ubuntu issue, not a problem with the audio control itself.
Out of the box it works perfectly with Windows 10 and Ubuntu --no drivers required.
