It's a simple little box that's made more of a difference to my ADHD chaos than any app. Lock away your phone and your bank cards and the impulse buying disappears. No fighting the impulse, you just can't spend money, or doom scroll. I read more, my house is tidier, and I'm getting out in nature. Love it.

Does what it needs to but I wish there was an additional non paid unlock just a lock box option. That’s what I thought I bought was a timed box with a custom pin so I know better next time

The box worked fine for what it was designed for. I found it impractical for my
(medical ) needs. I have a few "once a year" appointments but those do not require locking anything away. A 24 hour cycle may have been useful.

Any habit that can fit in the box, this will handle that for you. For a $20 fee you can unlock it, but I recommend you throw out the little card that shows you that hack. One hour to one year - in a moment of clarity, just lock it up. I'll routinely find myself saying I really shouldnt but I'll jsut have a little and... nope, my higher self prevented me from doing that some point in the past. This way I can titrate my vices and not eat all the cupcakes in a week, so to speak. I leave little notes in there too with my long term cupcake comsumption plan so that when it does unlock I know how to interact with my cravings going forward. Love this thing and wich I got it years ago. Why bother with discipline and reistance when a simple box can do it for you instead? Highly recommend.

The price to unlock should exponentially increase, at a rate of 20$ every time it’s easy to relapse. I am personally using this to quit smoking. I have removed the child safety button to prevent further unlocks. I would still encourage you to go from 20 to 100 to 200$ to get someone to truly stop

I decide how long ____ will be locked up. Then set it and forget it. Other reviewers don't like having to pay for an emergency unlock. For me that's why I bought it. An effective deterrent. The option to "up the ante" on how much one has to pay for the next emergency unlock is a nice touch too! Love it!

We had purchased some items way in advance to save money on items needed for a vacation. We used this locking container as a means to purchase on sale items and actually save them for when we wanted them. Was very useful and worth the cost of the lock box. Glad I have it now for future use.
