I don't usually write reviews and was not asked for a review nor contacted by the seller. I wanted to leave a review because I'm seldom so surprised in a good way. I had wanted a stylish, lightweight mousepad that would function well without spending a lot of money. This mousepad arrived quickly, came nicely packaged and looks very sleek. It looks great with the leather laptop bag that I use and fits nicely into taking up very little space (very thin). The quality is superior by my standards- the backing stops the pad from moving on any surface I've used it on and again, it looks great. This is not what I expected for $7 and I just thought I'd share my good experience.
Due to a certain pandemic that can't be named, I'm having to work from home again. My work laptop logs me out if it's inactive for 5 minutes or more. Then it takes me almost 10 minutes to get fully logged back in on the company VPN. I've tried several home-made solutions like sitting my mouse on a clock, but that doesn't work. And getting one of those little software/driver-based USB "mouse jigglers" is out too because my work laptop would see it as "unapproved hardware". Then I'd get an angry email from the sometimes testy folks in our IT department. So I decided to pull the trigger on this VAYDEER mechanical mouse jiggler and mover. And while it's expensive (almost $40 USD), it works perfectly and I don't have to spend all day moving my mouse or hitting keys on the keyboard to keep my laptop awake. It works perfectly and looks nice on my desk. If you are on the fence due to the price, just go ahead and get this little thing because it works and will completely solve your problem without getting you fired from your job.
My elbows get sore on my desk. These pads did the trick and now I no longer have sore elbows.
They are well built with comfy memory foam and a non-slip silicone pad on the bottom. They look to be durable for heavy use - been using them for several months no with no signs of wear as I work from home full-time.
I bought two thinking I would use both but to be honest you just need one and it is easy to move around if you shift your elbow.
Overall, these are pricy but worth it!
This volume control is awesome. I have been using it for several months now. It is made of solid metal and the dial turns very smoothly. There are buttons for pause/play, skip forward, skip back, and a button to change the amount of volume change when you turn the dial. Again, it is made of solid metal and has a rubber padded bottom. It stays put where ever the place it and I expect this will last longer than the computers I plugged it into.
I use it to change the volume on streaming music on a secondary PC when I am working on my primary PC. Both computers are hooked up to the same large monitor via a KVM and most of the time the secondary PC is running in headless mode. Plugging this into a USB port on that PC makes it a snap to change the volume, pause the music, skip the the next track, etc... All while working on the primary PC. Again, this thing is solid construction.
I’ve been a good virtual worker, but the anxiety of my status changing from available to away (like when I’m on the phone, reading a paper-copy manual, going to the bathroom) had me stressed to the max. To any prying eyes, this hardware doesn’t show up on your computer any different than a Bluetooth mouse or keyboard would. It keeps your status as available when turned on, and with the quick push of a button you can turn it off easily. It drifts back and forth across the screen and appears to even “click” every now and then too. This works with Microsoft Teams and Skype Messanger. Great product, life-saver!!
